The Club is built in the old walled garden of Thorncroft Manor at the southern edge of Leatherhead and is in a beautifully rural setting, all the ranges are laid to lawn with all weather covered firing points.
The Club has 17 firing points at 25 yards, 12 points at 50 metres, 9 points at 100 yards together with 6 points for field target air rifles with ranges up to 75 yards. In 2006 we built our new Lottery funded air pistol/rifle range with 6 points at 10 metres and 2 points at 20 yards/metres. With a second Lottery grant we have replaced the old Lightweight Sporting Rifle facility with a brand new range of 8 points at 20 yards. We also have a developing Hunter Field Target section.
Regular coaching sessions are provided in all disciplines and are compulsory for all novices.
Other facilities include a Clubhouse with comfortable chairs and catering facilities, separate toilet facilities and a large car park.
The Club is affiliated to the Surrey Smallbore Rifle Association and the National Smallbore Rifle Association and we compete in County and National postal competitions. We also host two major County finals and we have our own invitation shoot in the autumn.
